I had initially intended to replace Forklift 3 with Forklift 4 Beta as my daily file manager. However, I soon realized that there was no strong motivation for me to make the switch, and certain design decisions in FL4 actually encouraged me to stick with FL3. Without much modesty, I decided to share my thoughts with the Forklift developers, and this marked the beginning of a fruitful collaboration. Here's what I wrote (it was in April 2023).
